Our Commitment to Independence
Telehealth Match exists to help consumers make informed decisions about telehealth providers. Our editorial content — including scores, rankings, reviews, pros and cons, and pricing data — is produced independently and is not influenced by affiliate partnerships or advertising relationships.
How Our Scores Work
Every telehealth brand on our Site is evaluated across five weighted dimensions: Trust & Safety (30%), Value (25%), Experience (20%), Product Range (15%), and Reputation (10%). Scores are based on publicly available information including company websites, SEC filings, FDA compliance records, patient reviews on Reddit and app stores, and direct pricing verification.
No company can pay to change their score, alter their ranking, or remove a review.
Featured Partners
Some brands on the Site are labeled as “Featured Partners.” This label indicates a commercial affiliate relationship with that brand. Featured Partners may receive additional visual prominence on certain pages. However, the “Featured Partner” designation does not affect the brand's score, ranking position within our scoring system, or editorial content.
Editor's Picks
Our Editor's Picks section highlights brands that our editorial team believes deserve attention based on their strengths in specific areas. These are chosen based on editorial judgment — not based on which brands have the highest affiliate payouts.
“Best For” Awards
“Best For” tags (e.g., “Best Value,” “Best for First-Timers”) are editorial designations based on our research and analysis. They are not paid placements.
Research Process
Our research for each brand includes:
- Direct verification of pricing on the company's website
- Review of patient feedback on Reddit, Trustpilot, and app stores
- Analysis of FDA compliance records and any regulatory actions
- Evaluation of company financials (for publicly traded companies)
- Assessment of platform experience, onboarding flow, and support quality
