MyMenopauseRx launched in April 2021, founded by Chicago-area OB/GYN Dr. Barbra Hanna (DO, FACOG, MSCP) with her son Steven. It operates as an online doctor's office rather than a medication seller. Visits are about 30 minutes over Zoom, in-network with Aetna, Cigna, BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Humana and Tricare commercial plans (not Medicare, Medicaid or HMOs), and $150 self-pay. Prescriptions for bioidentical estradiol, progesterone, DHEA, non-hormonal options and branded GLP-1s (Wegovy, Zepbound, Saxenda) go to the patient's own pharmacy, so medication costs depend on the patient's coverage. Testosterone is limited to Illinois patients. The clinician roster is mostly Menopause Society-certified, and patients can keep the same clinician. It serves 39 states plus DC. Public review volume is negligible (Trustpilot 3.3/5 on four reviews, including rushed-visit and duplicate-charge complaints).
