Every TeleDirectMD visit is done by its founder, board-certified family physician Parth Bhavsar, MD (NPI 1104323203), over video. Visits usually start within 1–2 hours of booking, and prescriptions go to the patient's local pharmacy. Pricing is a single $79 cash fee (HSA/FSA accepted), and Aetna, Anthem BCBS and UnitedHealthcare are accepted in some states. The practice doesn't prescribe controlled substances, GLP-1s or injectables other than EpiPen refills, so it fits episodic needs (UTI, STI, herpes, ED, birth-control refills, hair loss, smoking cessation, travel medicine), not ongoing programs.
