Founded in 2021 by Joanna Strober and based in Menlo Park, Midi Health is the best-funded menopause-focused telehealth company (about $150M raised, including a $50M Series C in October 2025) and reports serving more than 500,000 women across all 50 states. Unlike most cash-pay menopause brands it bills visits to commercial insurance (Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Health Net), with self-pay at $250 for a first visit and $150 for follow-ups and no membership fee; Medicare, Medicaid and Medi-Cal are not accepted. Clinicians, mostly nurse practitioners trained in Midi's menopause curriculum, can prescribe FDA-approved HRT to a pharmacy of the patient's choice, order labs and imaging, and dispense Midi's own compounded GLP-1s from $164 per 4-week supply. The main weakness is billing: BBB lists 64 complaints in three years, largely surprise balances after insurance confirmations, and compounded GLP-1 dose pricing is not published.
